If you haven't read much lately on training your core or abdominals then you are probably still performing crunch after crunch in your endless effort to achieve that perfectly sculpted six pack. The newest outlook on training the core is to not train the core to flex and extend, but rather to train your abdominals to resist flexion, extension, and rotation. This means we are looking at the core as more of a stabilizer and integral aspect of upper-body and lower-body movements.
